This site uses almost no cookies. Specifically: there's no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no third-party tracking. The site is statically generated and served, and most pages set zero cookies.

The exceptions are operational: the newsletter signup form may set a temporary cookie to remember your submission, and Cloudflare (the service that protects and accelerates this site) sets a small cookie to detect bot traffic and keep the site fast and secure.

Episode pages on the podcast section contain YouTube video embeds. These are lazy-loaded, meaning no YouTube code or cookies are loaded until you tap the play button on a video. Once you tap play, YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed loads the video, and YouTube may set its own cookies per their privacy policy. We use the privacy-enhanced embed mode specifically to delay this until you've opted in by playing the video.

If you have your browser's cookie controls turned up, none of this should bother you. The site works fine without cookies.
